Black
Satellites head coach Sellas Tetteh has admitted having slight issues
with Chairman of the team, Winfred Osei Parma prior to the 2015 Africa
Youth Championships in Senegal.
The Ghanaian tactician has proclaimed
having trivial rows with the Tema Youth owner before the team embarked
on their trip to Senegal.
Reports were rife that the two were involved in several misunderstandings at the team’s camp in Senegal.
It was alleged that Parma had
questioned the selections of Sellas Tetteh during matches, but Sellas
has denied such rumor despite admitting having minor differences with
the Football Administrator.
“People are not interpreting the situation very well,” he told TV3 Sports.
“Yea it was true we had some
little issue before we left for the tournament in Senegal. But nothing
happened between us when we got there.”
“We were able to settle all matters in Ghana before we left and there was nothing like quarrelling or anything of that.”
“But it was true we had some slight problems and it was settled amicably before we went.”
Sellas Tetteh guided the Black
Satellites to a bronze medal feat at the 2015 Africa Youth Championships
after defeating Mali in the 3rd place match.
