The cloth of Gregory Afoko, the main suspect in the murder of the NPP’s
Upper East regional chairman, Adams Mahama has tested positive for acid.
Prosecutors today, Tuesday August 11, argued in court that the suspect’s shirt which was seized by the Police after the gruesome attack has been confirmed to contain acid after forensic investigations.
Afoko is currently fighting his bail at the Human Rights court after previous bail application were turned down by the magistrate court hearing the matter.
Adams Mahama was murdered in May. Two individuals, including Gregory Afoko are currently standing trial over the crime.
