Boy, 20, defiles six-year-old girl, damages her anus

A six-year-old girl is fighting for her life at a hospital in Takoradi after she was defiled by a 20-year-old man.

Her anus and vagina were damaged in the process. Doctors are struggling to operate her to save her life.

Starr FM’s Western regional correspondent Emmanuel Ohene Gyan reports that the victim and the perpetrator of the crime Isaac Nana Kwasi Baffoe live with the same guardian at Kwesimintim.

Isaac has been arrested and is currently in police custody. He would be arraigned before court next week.

Speaking to Starr News, the Kwesimintsim District Police Commander, DSP Thomas Bayoron explained that on August 12, the mother of the victim left her in the care of Isaac to enable her run some errands in town.

Isaac immediately took advantage of the situation and defiled the young girl damaging her vagina and anus in the process.

DSP Bayoron added that the victim started shouting which attracted neighbours to rush to her rescue.

Isaac was arrested and sent to the Police station for interrogation.
